Psychologist (Masters)
$39.39 - $51.78 Hourly
Candidate Registered (step 4): $45.94 Hourly
Masters Registered (steps 5-7): $47.80 - $51.78 Hourly
Psychologist (PhD)
$52.99 - $66.23 Hourly
Candidate Registered (step 3): $59.61 Hourly
Psychologist PhD (steps 4-5): $62.92 - 66.23 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Health Services Manager, the Psychologist is a member of the interdisciplinary team. The incumbent will collaborate with other members of the team while providing assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and psychotherapy. The ability to conduct both individual and group treatment is required. As well, the incumbent will be required to work collaboratively with family physicians and other service providers and community agencies in the context of providing care. The successful candidate will be required to participate in quality improvement initiatives including peer supervision processes for ongoing clinical development.
This is a pooling posting and opportunities include Mental Health & Addictions and other medical areas across Nova Scotia Health.
