We are currently accepting applications for a dynamic, highly skilled, and organized individual to join our accounting team in the role of Financial Accountant.

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Financial Accountant will help ensure the timely preparation of our Company monthly consolidated financial statements. This is a multi-company environment which includes both Canadian and foreign operations, as well as other partnership companies. Major activities include the preparation of working paper files, intercompany account reconciliations, updating various consolidation and business unit files for senior management, and maintenance of the general ledger. In addition, the incumbent will prepare files for external auditors during the annual audit and assist in the preparation of the annual consolidated budget. 

Through your experience and education, you have demonstrated sound judgment, problem solving skills and the capability to manage multiple projects in a demanding, fast paced work environment.  You possess a degree in Commerce or Business with an accounting major, supplemented by relevant work experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment).

Experience with the use of computer applications such as (Excel, Microsoft Dynamics, Jet Reports, SQL reports, etc.) would be beneficial.  An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
