Our company is an established and growing aquaculture operation headquartered in Marystown, NL in the heart of the Burin Peninsula with multiple sites throughout the province. With over 100 talented employees, they’re not just about aquaculture, they're cultivating a brighter future for the local communities and the environment. To support this continued growth, we are seeking Aquaculture Technicians to join their and contribute to the Rushoon and Merasheen sites, on a rotational schedule. In this vital role, you will be responsible for general farm operations and husbandry of fish stocks. You'll be an integral part of a dedicated team, driving operational efficiency and ensuring the health and well-being of their fish stocks. Every day presents an opportunity to effect meaningful change in their operations.
What You Will Do:
Work Environment:
• Outdoor setting, immersed in the natural beauty of Newfoundland and Labrador.
• An active role, combining various physical activities including kneeling, bending and lifting.
• A unique work schedule offering a balance between work and personal time: Seven days on, followed by seven days off. 80 hours bi-weekly. What They Offer:
