Operations excellence
• Work closely with the Restaurant Manager (or Food & Beverage Manager or Banquet Manager) and Culinary Managers to execute a smooth and flawless operation.
• Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for all violations of company policies, rules, and procedures.
• Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
• Prepares budget and cost estimates
• Maintains records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety Program.
• Assist with our continuous effort to ensure smooth and efficient work and service flows.
Team support
• Promote team spirit between staff in different departments, enhancing our positive work culture.
• Ensure optimal performance by being a consistent presence on the floor to support and lead the team to deliver service excellence.
• Greet guests and enthusiastically represent our brand, providing service that goes above and beyond the expectations of our guests.
• Participate in the training and coaching of new and existing team members.
• Perform all opening, closing and cleaning tasks as instructed, and provide leadership and delegation to service and support teammates.
Administration
• Adhere to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures.
• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports, and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
• Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
• Participate in weekly management meetings as needed.
