About the Organization
Underground mine and processing facility. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt, with ore mined by narrow vein longhole stoping methods. Ore is then transported to surface via a modern one thousand eighty metre
deep shaft capable of forty-eight hundred tonnes per day.

The Timmins West mine is located approximately 18 kilometers west of Timmins, Ontario, one of
the world’s most prolific gold camps. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destor fault
system within the Abitibi greenstone belt. The Timmins West mine is comprised of the Timmins
deposit, the Thunder Creek deposit, and the 144 Gap deposit. All three deposits are
interconnected by underground drifts.

About the Opportunity
We are looking to hire Development Miners (Jumbo Operators, Bolters) to join our team at the
Timmins West Mine in Timmins, ON., and the Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine, ON., on a full-time
basis.
The schedule is 5-5-4, 10 hour shifts rotating days and nights.
In this position, you will be proficient in the use of single and/or multiple boom jumbo operation.
You will be responsible to lead a 2 person crew in a development heading, extending grade and
center line; marking the face for drilling and circling bootlegs; maintaining hanging wall and foot
wall control in conjunction with the site Geologist; while ensuring proper policies and procedures
are being followed. You must be capable of operating a jackleg and/or stopper. You will be
knowledgeable in all aspects of mining operations such as Drift, Ramp, and Construction mining.
You will be a self-motivated individual with excellent leadership and communication skills. You
will have experience in mucking development rounds; loading trucks; Jumbo drill experience; bolting with Jackleg and/or Stoper; assisting with prepping the face for drilling; installing services
in development headings and loading rounds.
Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based
position.

• Five to 10 years’ related mining experience
• Proven work experience in the safe operation of a Jumbo along with Specialty Common
Core Modules
• Practice good housekeeping
• Be committed to safety
• Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core
• Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada
