Summary of Role

Globex Management has a culture that inspires our RITE values; Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Entrepreneurship. As a member of the Maintenance Department the Maintenance associate is responsible for day to day routine and preventative maintenance of the hotel, its exterior, and the grounds.

Impact & Influence on Guests, Associates and Business

  • Respond and attend to all maintenance requests, guest room calls and or concerns
  • Perform minor repairs including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, painting, carpentry etc.
  • Ability to diagnose malfunctions and repair unsafe equipment
  • Pool maintenance, including-repairs, water testing where applicable
  • Maintain grounds including snow removal, lot cleaning 
  • Active involvement with all aspects of hotel renovations
  • Comply with proper Lock out tag out procedures
  • Knowledge of department chemicals and cleaning products; this includes complying with all safe handling procedures and wearing required PPE as required
  • Conduct on the job training to new associates as required
  • Other duties as assigned

 Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Maintenance experience or the equivalent experience in a related position
  • Must be able to use most power tools
