Summary of Role

Globex Management has a culture that inspires our RITE values; Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Entrepreneurship. The IT Support Administrator is responsible for managing and implementing many technology systems, programs, and processes used at Airline Hotels. In addition to the oversight and management of these systems, they provide IT support for associates in multiple hotels/regions. Success in this position will be achieved by someone who is knowledgeable and experienced in software implementation and troubleshooting as well as motivated to help associates achieve success in support issue resolution for maximum associate and guest satisfaction. This position will report to the Director responsible for Information Technology and will be accountable to the General Managers of the hotels in which he/she has designated responsibility. 

Impact & Influence on Guests, Associates and Business

  • Managing the Office 365 environment.
  • Creating, modifying and removing users and licenses as needed
  • Creating, modifying and deleting SharePoint Online elements and user permissions
  • Act as IT support for designated hotels.
  • Escalating support tickets with third-party vendors
  • Assisting associates who do not know what steps to take next
  • Supporting critical hardware/software in the event of failures
  • Increasing the knowledge and capability of associates in the hotels to enhance their abilities to remedy/troubleshoot simple solutions on their own
  • Managing technology inventories
  • Creating and maintaining technical hardware inventories
  • Provide input on where funds should be spent on hardware
  • Managing major systems and software
  • Gathering feedback from associates regarding various major systems
  • Assisting in rolling out new systems and major changes to existing ones
  • Creating, modifying and removing users as needed for designated systems
  • Must be available to take emergency calls at night and weekends to assist with problems and be open to off-hours work

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • 5+ years experience working in the retail or hospitality industry
  • 7+ years IT experience working in and managing various cloud environments
