Main duties of the job: 

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food. 
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation. 
• Establish work schedules and procedures. 
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage. 
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures. 
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. 
• May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets. 
• May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labour costs. 

Working conditions: 

Full-time employment position in a positive working environment, with all the tools necessary to carry out the position with optimum performance. Hourly wage will be $18.27 /hour. Working hours are 8 hours shift a day or up to 40 hours a week, Monday to Sunday. Employees will receive reasonable notice from the employer, additional work hours and/or hours outside of the normal hours of work as deemed necessary by the employer to meet the business needs. 

Education required: 

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate 

Skills and knowledge necessary for duties: 

Flexibility, Team player, Reliability, Client focus, Organized, 1-2 years of experience.
