Nestled between the wonder of the aurora borealis and the rugged nature of the northern frontier, our little brewing outpost is one of a kind. Located in the spirited town of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories we are the northernmost brewpub in Canada.

Our 112 seat brewpub is seeking an executive sous chef that has extensive experience working in a commercial kitchen. You must have the ability to work in a busy, fast paced work environment that is very team oriented and requires a positive attitude while at work. You will assist our Executive chef with the daily operational needs of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the righthand to our Executive chef
• Assisting in the daily operations of the kitchen.
• Oversee kitchen staff & ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
• ̈Maintain quality product and control food costs.
• Monitor inventory, manage costs to minimize waste.
• Assist with training, mentorship and employee retention.
• Maintain nutrition and sanitation regulations as well as safety standards.

 SALARY

$59,800annually + gratuities = ~ $72,000/year

TERM 2 year minimum
