  • At least one year housekeeping or cleaning experience is required
  • Ability to follow instructions and perform well in a team
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Professional appearance and manners
  • Clean rooms according to the Hilton brand standard
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all chemicals, cleaning products and handling procedures
  • Respond to guests and staff inquiries, requests and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Ensure all lost items left in guest rooms are reported and processed according to procedures
  • Ensures all maintenance and safety hazards are promptly reported to management
  • Take responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is operated correctly and secure at all times
  • Reports any unusual or suspicious persons/activities in the area of security to management
  • Reports any maintenance issues including burned out light bulbs or loose handles
  • Check under bed, drawers, and closet for left behind articles and or trash
  • Cleans sink and fixtures and restock all terries with guest supply and amenities
  • Clean coffee pots when needed, - ensures pots are plugged in
  • Rearrange and clean furniture after used by guests
  • Ensure the security of guest rooms and the privacy of guests
  • Perform Laundry tasks when necessary including collect, sort, transport laundry.
  • Stock linen supply room with clean linens for next day use.
  • Familiarize with our inventory supplies and ways to treat them such as bed linens, blankets, Duvets/Comforters, towels & face cloths, and restaurant table linens.
  • Perform end of day procedures including all cleaning cloths bring washed, dried and folded for housekeeping needs.
  • Small mending repairs required as needed.
  • Perform house person duties if required.
